Lockdown 2.0

hi everyone, It's been long we all are locked down in homes to stay safe. Initial days flew fast as we all were busy sleeping, eating, binge watching our favorite web series or movies BUT then came  LOCKDOWN 2.0 . Now it seems we are left with nothing to do, you no longer want to spend more time in kitchen trying out new dishes ( thanks to few more pounds), watching serials or movies is also not exciting anymore. Now what to do?  Heyy no worrries !! Here I bring you a list of things you can try out. These activities will not only help you to get over your boredom but will also help you to develop yourself.
Here we start :
1. Gardening - I have never been interested in gardening but once I started, it became a kind of mental exercise for me. Honestly when you see plants growing day by day, their lush green color, you will be at peace. I started by following some YouTube channels like Backyard Gardening. Start with whatever plastic or waste containers you have. Prepare your own kitchen garden by growing chilli, coriander, fenugreek etc.

2. Reading - You always wanted to read THAT book but time was a constraint. It was just not possible with long working hours. BUT now you have all the time you always wanted. Grab your book with your cup of coffee. What? you don't have that book?? So what you can always find E-books. Try different apps like Any Books. Now run to your corner to finish. And let me know in comments which book you are reading.

3. Healthy living - We have almost ruined our routine in this lock down. Don't do this. Wake up at the same time you were used to. Use your morning to get some ME Time. Say some affirmations to you. Write your journal. Exercise. Spend some time with Vitamin D. Cook a healthy breakfast for yourself.

4. Learn new skills - This is the time you can learn some thing new without adjusting much on your work routine. Learn some new skills. Anything. An instrument, new language, Ms-excel, writing, Anything.  Just indulge in learning. Register for some online courses. You may try Coursera.com for free online courses.

5. Call one person a day - Yes, we have got ample time to spend with our family now. But still there are people with whom we couldn't connect and blamed it on long office hours. Now is the time. Connect with your old friends and relatives. Mark in your to do list to call one person a day.

6. Clutter free space - We tend to accumulate unwanted things over a period of time. And then find it difficult to delutter our space even on weekends (weekend is party time!). As now you are free and have helping hands at home you should definitely go ahead and clear all the mess. You can start with taking out thing which has not been used in last one year.

7. DIYs - Once you have cleared every corner and cabinet of your home, You must have got a pile of waste things. But stop! don't just throw them away. Indulge your kids in making some Best out of Waste. It will keep your kids busy and by the end you will have more decorative to beautify their rooms.

People there are so many things to do at home. So do try these out and let me know your experience.

STAY HOME. STAY SAFE.
